The Story….
Zero G Gear was born from the desire to create unique, high quality ultralight gear, right here in Aus. After diving headfirst into the world of ultralight hiking, I quickly realised that high-quality, weight-conscious gear was nearly impossible to find in Australia. Most of it was overseas — expensive, slow to ship, or just not made for Aus.
So, I decided to make my own.
What started as a personal project quickly became a passion. Today, Zero G Gear is a one-man operation based in the Southern Highlands of NSW — dedicated to designing and handcrafting ultralight hiking gear that’s strong, functional, and tailored for Aussie terrain.
This isn’t mass-produced gear. Every piece is made with care, using high-performance materials and a deep understanding of what hikers actually need (and what they don’t). My goal? To help you go further, faster, and freer — without the burden of unnecessary weight.
